Samples for new members only

I don't understand why new members get all the free samples. What about members who have backed Betty Crocker for a long time? Why not post members only samples , say, here in the message boards? I see "free samples" in all those freebie boards and I can't get any of them since I'm already a member. I would like to be able to try new things withput having to buy a large size that I might not like...Thanks.

Re: Samples for new members only

I agree that although it's nice to award new members with samples, it is the current membership that supports the website, and who better to reward than your supporters? And here's one for your to reflect on; some either new members and/or old members may not have a printer, or may have run out of ink at an inopportune time, or for some unknown reason may not be able to print the coupons. . . is there some way we could have them mailed to us instead?

And when you say samples for new members, areyou merely talking coupons?  I sure missed out on mine when I signed up, but it'sok because I really do use the website andhave gotten my share's worth in recipes and cooking information, and I just appreciate being able to have a recipe box on-line that doesn't clutter my counter-top! So whatever the debate ensues, I do want to say thanks for being out here!

I sadly, have to agree with your comment. Some member's only samples would be great too.

I agree with you & the other people . I don't remember getting any free samples or a calander . Also I can't get coupons the stores around here don't accept them. I just compleated a survey on this site saying I liked everything about this site sure wish I could go back & change that. I hope who ever is in charge will change the policy. thank you

Good Job EJP22!  I've been frustrated by the new members only getting for years.  Thanks for speaking up!

I also agree.  I like the sites many helps, however, it would be nice to receive perks of some sort.  I have not received reward or sample.  I was supposed to get a free sample of potatoes which I never received.  I told a friend of mine about this site, she signed up, and she received the potatoes.  So I don't know it must be hit or miss.  She was just one of the lucky few.

I agree with you 100% on members receiving free samples. It would show members that "Betty" values their support and therefore create good will with the consumers that stand by them on an ongoing basis. It is also a good way to entice new members to receive the newsletter. Unfortunately, when I signed up for the newsletter I too was offered a sample, which I have yet to receive!!!?! So, perhaps "Betty" should take a lesson from Walmart and their position on samples! Just a thought. thanks, me
